Our 50th Birthday
Carrie Fischer opened Christhaven Library in August, 1961, in the Pike Place Market. To commemorate that event, you are invited to a party at the library on Friday, August 26, 2011, starting 6 pm. This is the kick-off for our 50th anniversary project, which will be a video of interviews and memories of the library, to be presented and shown at the 50th anniversary of the incorporation of the AS-YOU-LIKE-IT library, in 2013 |

Annual Visioning Event Saturday, Sept 3, 1 pm Community Room at the Ballard House 2445 NW 57th St This is an opportunity for the members of the Library who have a personal commitment at some level to the growth, evolution, and unfolding development of the Library to have a voice and input into our plans, intentions, affirmations, blessings, and invocations specifically for the following year, and flowing out into the infinity beyond. The entrance to the Community Room is through a gate to the back yard, on the east side of the building. The building itself is secured, and you cannot get in the front door.
